Our menu is broad to serve all
palates, including meat-based, vegan, vegetarian and
gluten-free dishes, some with an ethnic flavour.
Try one of our house specialties-our
grilled Panini sandwiches. We have four signature
Panini's to choose from, or you can choose your bread,
filling, and toppings to create your own, and we will
grill it to perfection.
Not in the mood for a sandwich? We
have meal-sized salads that are both appealing to the
eye and the stomach. Our organic greens are
supplied by Paul Lee at Living Springs, and we always
strive to use the freshest ingredients wherever
possible.
Weekends are special here at Van
Gali's. We feature hand-made crepes all weekend
long and often showcase a specialty crepe in addition to
our regular fare. If you haven't tried one of our
delicious creations, it must not be missed.
We have many different selections for
breakfast or a mid-afternoon snack. Many of our
homemade desserts are made with spelt flour or are
gluten-free. Our smoothies are second to none, and
can be made with Soy milk or regular. Like coffee?
How about FREE coffee? We offer flavoured lattés and
steamers, cappuccinos, or on those hot days a refreshing
iced coffee made with Reunion Island Organic Fare Trade,
or our local supplier-Waterloo Coffee. We have also
started to carry Torre coffee which is a Portugese
blend. (Torre coffee is becoming a certified organic
trade) Every time you
enjoy a cup of our fabulous coffee to go, we will stamp
your coffee card and your 8th cup is on us!
It must also be
noted that we are a fully licensed establishment and
offer two types of Sleeman draft beer (available in the summer months), a variety of
bottles, a selection of Red and White wines, and
cocktails for you to whet your palate. |
